I said it was extremely in appropriate and uncalled for. I’m at work. That’s really douchey when I have to be nice.
I almost made a comment about being a lesbian in the military too but I stopped myself. He was a jerk and he was totally forcing it trying to be funny.

a creepy older man came in the other night with just me and my other female coworker and kept calling me his princess and told me i was so pretty multiple times so i finally told him i thought it was inappropriate. his response was to laugh and walk out

I had a guy ask for dark roast with an extra shot, I told him we only had pike brewing and dark would take a little extra time, so he said that's fine he will go with pike. I bring it to him he goes, "didn't I say iced?" I was like.... "...no?" He rolled his eyes and was like "okay but I definitely did." BITCH HOW???????????? I had to go to the back and cool down after that one.

Also don’t get mad at us about the prices. We just work here. Had a dude this morning say he got a caramel frap for the first time yesterday and it was too sweet. Told him we could do less pumps of caramel, he says he wants more coffee tastes and asks to add five expresso shots. We tell him the price, he flips out and before we can even try and tell him that we can just do less caramel and maybe 2 shots more, he drives off angrily after saying “we should just replace it because he didn’t like it yesterday.” 🤦🏻♀️

Don’t hate me, but since I started working at Starbucks I call it the McDonalds of coffee.
Everyone goes to Starbucks for the name. Tbh, I think the coffee is pretty bad. Plus most of the Frappuccino’s are way too sweet for me. I love how impatient people are though. They stand in line out the door and wait for 10 minutes to order, and then except their drink to be done. Entitlement at its finest.

But it’s not actually. Starbucks isn’t actually a fast food restaurant, it’s a coffee shop. We barely even make food. Like, we don’t make anything by hand except coffee.

Actually it is. Fast food restaurant doesn't mean only food. Starbucks is considered to be as fast service. You get your coffee fast. The term now applies to food and drinks that can be purchased and served quickly.Starbucks provides customers with coffee at prices comparable to those of its competitors, as well as ready-made desserts, sandwiches and other snacks. Starbucks locations are found in airports, shopping malls, grocery stores, freestanding stores, strip malls and other retail outlets. Some Starbucks locations feature drive-through windows for added for convenience.. I guess its in between fast food/fast casual.

People need to understand this lol, people who work at Starbucks try to other themselves thinking its not a fast food chain but it totally is classified as one now
