I was so tired at the end of one of my shifts that I forgot which oven we'd turned off to clean. I reached into the one that was still on and grabbed the tray to take it out. The blisters were huge and I'm still shocked I didn't get any sort of nerve damage tbh

Dude, I have three burns currently and two bandaged fingers from slicing them with the knife. I’m too clumsy to be on warming, but I’m stuck there in the daily.

No scars (except a small one on my finger from the white cheddar in the RF turkey), but I did once get splashed across the face with egg white bite grease when I pulled them out too quickly 😑

I legit have SO MANY BURNS from the oven. Also, it’s been decided unofficially by the shift supervisors that I’m not allowed to CS when floors (cafe or behind the bar OR back of house 😂) are being done because I walk too fast and I slip. Every. Time.

Yep, and from cleaning under the brewers. Hot bacon grease too.
