That is to deter the hash slinging slasher when you go throw out the garbage at night$1

That was my second guess

This is used for alley fights between Starbucks employees and Dunkin employees.

That's for customers who ask you to stir their iced caramel macchiato

I had one ask to have their iced caramel cloud macchiato without the caramel and stirred today. She said it made it easier to drink while she was driving...

It’s to deter the Starbucks ghost that haunts every store

We have one at our store....knocks things off shelves (by like, 5 feet every time) seen old ladies in the store after doors are locked, doors opening and no one is there, etc.....one of our coworkers had a microwave from their grandma and they brought it for food in the back, soon after she died the haunting started

Any unruly customers get The Bat

They must be waiting for the vampires from twilight to play baseball next time there’s a storm

Personally as a ccw and future law enforcement (in process to be hired) I think it’s crap that Starbucks policy will reprimand is if we don anything other then lay down and give a robber or attacker what they what in that occurrence.
