Finally for once in my Starbucks career I finally got the cups before the customer did. I went in super early in the morning and got them!! (i.redd.it)

Me and my coworker are the two main closers.
I came back and went right back to sleep because I close tonight. That’s why I had to get up early because I never would have gotten these cups.

My manager has been scheduling shifts to close then be at the store by 6. Because there is 8 hrs exactly in between the shifts and that’s okay. But she forgets that some of them live 10-30 min away and need to get ready for work. Like nah wth

I got both of them because my coworker also wanted them and I live literally three min away.

Yeah it’s crazy. I came in a bought both but not for me. One for me and one for my coworker who doesn’t live as close as me. We never get any of the cups because we work close and mids.

Our were auto shipped to us a couple of weeks ago. I don’t think licensed stores are getting them but I’m not sure because I work at Kroger.

We didn’t put our cups out until the launch which my lead said was today.
I came in at 6 am for those and from 6 am to 12:30 when I worked all of our Halloween cups were sold out. Some lady bought six cups.

*Cries in weekend shifter.* But I'm going to get my tips and coffee markout today so hopefully we'll have gotten a shipment...this also coming from a store that has basically no merch. So we'll see if we ever get them.

We don’t get any mark outs and hardly any tips since we aren’t supposed to take them and don’t have a tip jar.

WHAT!? Are you getting paid a higher wage because you're not 'allowed' to accept tips? I feel like this is something corporate should be made aware of. Your partner guide says you are allowed the markouts of coffee (once per week), food (one per shift) and drinks (Unlimited during shift). It also outlines the tip structure and how you're supposed to get them. Your SM is cracked if they are denying you tips.

This is from the US, though so if you're outside the US, that could be the problem...

I work at Kroger so yes I get paid higher but I can barely get by on that and I save my tips for food and such. After bills it’s hard sometimes.
It’s a Kroger policy.

I've asked other partners I know from other stores, they didn't know anything about the cups. But that was a week ago.

I just know Kroger and target have them if they aren’t already sold out.
