I’m not gonna lie you will have worse days. I’m a 6 year partner and I can’t begin to tell you my horror stories. Not worth it to even go in. You will always have a day less staffed and more busy, every time you think it can’t get worse one day it will. I know this is like not uplifting but it’s the truth. I have worked 3 stores and it hasn’t changed. I am numb to it at this point but if you know you can find another job do it. You will have all your partners back not just your store but all of us. No matter what. This is hard. For any type of personality everyone has bad days and Starbucks doesn’t always have our back to make it easy for the people on the floor actually doing the work with the customer. What ever your decision know you have a whole community supporting you.

Edit: I think I don’t remember having this horrible of anxiety before working here. I don’t remember having this horrible of depression. It started when Starbucks started. I was a totally different person when I started and so I get it. I don’t regret the forever friendships I have made or all the amazing customers I have met. The job itself I swear ruins you. You are not the first person I have met that sees that like me. I swear to god my people skills have deteriorated from this job which you think it would do the opposite. I don’t know but it’s not a coincidence. Okay sorry long response.

Thank you so, so much for your honesty. I’ve decided I am going to hand it my notice. Because I’ll have a great day, and the next day is equally as bad, or worse. And like you said, it can and will always get worse.

And I agree, I don’t remember my depression being this bad, and my anxiety was nonexistent. My family thinks I’m being dramatic, and that I just don’t want to work (which is not the case, I love getting a paycheck) Thank you again for this, now I know I’m making the right decision. I hope you quit (if you haven’t already) because at the end of the day, this company wants profit. They don’t care about their employees wellbeing. Best wishes to you, and a hug if you need it ❤️
