I got my first check the same day as everyone else at my store. I think payday is this upcoming Friday the 27th because I also did not get any paycheck on the 20th and I have been here for months.

Thanks for replying! Maybe I just got the dates wrong, I'll check in and ask the store on my next shift. But I also started at the very beginning of this month and wasnt paid on the 13th either :/

Definitely ask your store manager about it! There’s a possibility your first check will be/was supposed to be mailed to you even with direct deposit set up. Unfortunately I don’t know if that’s the case for sure but your SM can help with that :-)

Your paycheck comes the Friday after the first pay period if you're in the States and working for an official store.
So, I'm getting money this Friday for the two week pay period that ended on the 22nd. Not every store is on the same cycle.
But you're spelling it "cheque" so this all may not be relevant info
