you stay 2hrs after you normally get out to do invasive cleaning tasks that you can't normally get done. We do em once a week.

haha thats how my store is. i swear we lose money with all the free drinks/food we all take. my SM even has like 3 espresso drinks during my shift

We get a free food/drink item on shift, plus we can get a free bag of coffee per week. Last night just everything aligned with all the goodies.

Also, i'll be honest. I don't make enough to buy enough groceries for the week. So I'm stuck stealing from work if i don't want to get too hungry.

Fair. I just know my manager would never fire me. She'd write me up 10 times before firing me because she knows i'm one of the few partners who actually knows how to do their job. I've never even seen her fire even the most terrible of people. I think stealing the occasional danish isn't going to make me lose my job.

We get our normal mark out food and drink for coming on to work our shift. The coffee was from my weekly coffee mark out and the other little treats were going to be tossed in the trash, so as long as we aren’t over indulging on the pastries then it’s golden.

technically you get one food item for free for your mark out per shift and are supposed to get discounted at the register by another partner. some stores are stricter than others when enforcing this. however a lot of items get thrown out at the end of the night and it won’t put a dent in starbucks’ revenue if we take more than that
