Someone stole our drive thru tip jar (self.starbucksbaristas)

A red truck pulled up to the parking lot near our drive thru and ran up and snagged out tip jar. Luckily a customer chased him down and got his tag. Hope jail is nice for trying to steal 10 dollars from broke Starbucks baristas.

We had this happen soooo many times, it’s freaking infuriating! Like we work hard for our 40¢ an hour tips. I’m glad your customer went after them, that’s awesome!

Ugh this happened to us one night a few weeks ago. I went to ask the guy if he wanted whip cream, got a weird vibe from the guy, and immediately when I turned around and walked away I hear the tip jar fly across the floor. The guy legit got out of his car and damn near jumped into drive window to grab them! I was like cool enjoy your $20 in quarters!!

This is why I grab the tips and put them in a cup inside when I see anything over like $3 lol. We’re also right by a freeway though so we have a lot more homeless pop.

Same. We’re on the more poor side of town by the highway. We used to have a lot of homeless people sit outside our store. We usually have a plexi on the inside to keep dollar tips but we didn’t transfer them over :,)
