Parking way to FUCKING far (self.starbucksbaristas)

I work at DT location and I all of us by 4 people are short as hell especially the people who work nights with me. Last night someone parked way to god damn far from the speaker and window (as usual). I politely as can they back up and park closer so that I’m not reaching out of the window and so that they don’t have to get out their car. The customers usually do because they see how small I am. The customers last night decide to catch a fucking attitude like I was asking the impossible. Like ma’am I’m 5’2 do u want me to fall the fuck out?

Omggggg I can’tttt, i feel you, I’m 5’2 also. This is such a pet peeve of mine. The worst part is when they see me struggling but make no effort to help.

I am the same height and have just gotten so used to balancing my body horizontally on the drive thru window like wall? Or i just half ass like customers do and make them reach out to full arms length like i know they’ve got

i've never had a problem with this... usually people are getting out of their cars or preemptively unplugging their phones from the charger when my scanner can reach it just fine. maybe it's a regional thing.
if it's such an issue, just shorten your reach and make them come to the conclusion that they have to move their car or get out of their car so they might spend a second thinking about how to prevent that next time.

This happened to my 5'4" ass the other day. Of course it's night and customer is so far away in a tiny clown car that was so close to the ground so I'm legit losing my footing on the ground as I lean out with her frap.

I’m 4”10. Along with my partner who is 4”8 we need extra help. I have to ask people to pull closer and people are so weird about it. Ughhh lol

Ya I appreciate the people who are like “ oh I’m so sorry! “ then their are the others who just hold their phone out while talking to the passenger not even look at me and not unplug the phone from the charger lol
