Just talk to your SM! They’ll give you the resources to start your personal development plan and will walk your through the steps you need to take.

I’m currently developing towards an ASM position and all it takes is a mention to your SM for them to give you their thoughts on the transition.

Just make sure you’re ready to step up as a leader in the store because that will be more important than any new task you take over for.
