I have been here for a year and twice last shift I hit the brew button before the urn was in place. Luckily I have gotten used to the fact that I do this frequently, and I had plenty of time to snatch the draining urn out of the sink and slam it into place before the water drips through the grounds. I then turn to the customers in line and inform them, "none of you saw a thing".

That’s what happened to me (except I put the filter in). I was going to brew pike and dark. I ended up grounding both in the container instead of one at a time because I was busy doing all these other things lol

For a while I would brew the coffee without dumping the old coffee out first. Overfilled every time and everyone knew that it was me.

Happens all the time!!!! I’ve had a customer come up, start to order, go all wide eyed, then point to the brewers and go “Uhh” while dark is just happily spilling out of the urn.
