I work at a licensed store on a college campus and we had a lady come “pick up a door dash order.” we explained we dont do doordash and she will have to order and pay at the register.
Lady goes “i paid already i can show you on the door dash app right now”
we refused to make the order because we dont do doordash and poliely asked her to check which store it was ordered from.
lady said she was going to file a complaint and stormed out...karens....

Doordash people that come in to our store usually have a certain card they pay with at the register because it doesn’t connect to our online mobile ordering system, so it’s ordered on the doordash website then the driver comes in and orders it. So that’s seems weird to me.

yeah this lady claimed she already paid for it and was there to pick it up. maybe tried to finesse a free order who knows. we dont even do mobile orders either so idk

Yeah sounds like either she didn’t understand how to do doordash yet, or was hoping you didn’t.
