Do you still use the Starbucks rewards app as a partner? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Greetings fellow partners! I've been a partner for almost 4 years now and I wonder if you guys still you use your Starbucks reward app as a partner?
Before becoming a partner I have used the app to collect the rewards and free item. Now as a partner, i don't use the app bc a). I got tried of the drinks/food, b). I usually don't go to starbucks on my days off and if i do I just use my partner discount and pay cash/debit card and c). I don't want junk of storage on my phone from the app. I wanted to know what you guys do?

Hey! I still use the app. I'm quite partial to our everything bagels with avocado spread, so I will use my app to pay for the extra avocado.
Do you know how to sync up the app with your partner numbers? You get a fancy little green apron card in the app. I think you can collect stars faster, too. Like I think we get 3x the number of stars per dollar spent or something like that. So at least that's sort of worth it.
And when I come in to work on my days off and order shit, I still have to give the person on reg my partner numbers for the discount but I always use the app to pay. And then I just save up stars and use them on tumblers and mugs for gifts

linking your partner card also automatically deducts partner discount from mobile orders, good shit right there

partner card is in mypartnerinfo on the sidebar. punch it into your app like you would a giftcard and bam, itll be a green card and you can load it up just like you usually would

Once you connect your partner numbers in the app, you don’t have to tell the POS person your numbers. You still have to ask for the discount, but as long as you scan your app first, they’ll push the partner discount and it will automatically enter your numbers.
But yeah the mobile order applies the discount automatically. Simplest way.

You have to go onto the Starbucks rewards website and login to put your partner numbers on your account

I’m still fairly new (3 months about) so I’m not tired for the drinks/food etc. But I still think the app is useful, even if just for the birthday reward!

I don't really care for most of the drinks and pastries, but some of the teas, breakfast sandwiches and paninis are amazing, so I still pick up some of those when I'm not working. I like to use the app because I can collect stars for free merch, which make really good gifts. That's pretty much it.

Yes, the star dash extras can be very worth it sometimes. The other day I got an extra 100 for stopping three days in a row and since I was working the next three days, I just had a popcorn snack before each shift, spent a total of $3.15 and got extra 100 stars.
