Quick Q... (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I work a one of those "we proudly serve" places and something's startin' to bother me

How many people typically work a reg Starbucks at any given time? Cause my boss only schedules one person (me, been there for 3 months) to work and close our cafe for 5.5 hours

Our closing checklist is 3 HOURS LONG and is ment for 2+ people (and dont even think about starting early)

Freaking loose my mind everytime they do this and I was wondering if anyone else has to put up with this kind of stuff?

I work at a proudly serving, and it’s pretty standard for us to have solo closing shifts from around 6:30 to CL (9 or 10 depending on the day). I also FAR too often end up working morning or mid shifts by myself because of call-outs and refusal in my store to cross-train employees from the book selling floor.

Totally depends. At a cafe store it’s normal to have anywhere from 2-6 baristas and a shift supervisor depending on the time of day. At a drive thru store it’s normal to have 2-9 baristas and a shift depending on the time of day. Licensed stores often only have 1 barista for certain times of the day
