A little job positivity even after a disastrous day (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by pebbles4eva
I remember one of my first posts on here not even a year ago being super proud that I had just gotten through my first Friday peak on bar and it was great. Since then, I have been promoted to shift supervisor and I just won POQ. This job started for me for fun because I was tired of my “real job.” Now I’m full time here and only here.

I think working at Starbucks can be anything you want it to be. You have to know what you want to get out of your job and you will excel and shine and you won’t even have to try. Y’all I have had countless jobs and a huge history of just getting burned out from talking to people or just doing the same thing over and over or feeling unsatisfied in my life or finding it so hard to even just wake up each day and walk into the same miserable job. The siren has helped me be content with my work life but has also given me the work-life balance that I didn’t know I was searching for.

Also yes I want to agree with everyone else and say that today was a bit of a nightmare
