So a Starbucks near me told a customer that came into my store, that the strawberry açaí is summer seasonal? I’ve always had strawberry açaí available 😂 and we also get Peppermint all year round, are the stores that don’t?

I know that my store doesn't get peppermint year round but I've never been to a store that didn't serve strawberry acai. I've been to stores that have refused to give you water unless you make a purchase (even a tall which seems kind of unethical)

For us water is free and it states it is a tall unless requested otherwise. Yeah, I think they straight lied lol va

Isn’t there like a law that requires us to provide water as a food service industry?

I have no idea but I wouldn't be surprised since I live in Texas and the summers are ridiculously hot.

I get customers that get it in frapps, outside if the Peppermint mocha. I like Peppermint in my green tea latte

Hm that’s weird! We still have the CRCF and the MCCF. I wasn’t sure if they were becoming permanent or not.

When I worked in the Barnes and Noble cafe peppermint was seasonal and then my first day at Starbucks this just asked for a pep hot chocolate and I was like oh that’s holiday only and he schooled me 😂😂

Hey, a fellow Barnes and Noble refugee! My Starbucks has five partners that left BN, myself included.

Were you guys as surprised with how different it was too? Lol

Not super surprised really, just blown away at how much better the benefits are overall. The most surprising part to us was how much cleaner overall the store is, how well Starbucks maintains its locations. Clean Plays are so gratifying, taking the time after close to deep clean all those parts of the store that need it. The difference in cleaning and sanitation practices blows me away.

Yeesss how clean they keep their stores was wild to me because Barnes and Noble we didn’t even mop

We have peppermint all year round. I honestly think it has to do with the amount used at stores. If it isn't popular they may not keep it around. We have stores in our district that dont have peppermint syrups and a few others. We do caramel crunch still even though apparently no one does anymore in our district because the demand for that drink is ridiculous at our store lol but the one down the road stopped it when everyone else did.

It’s possible that some stores just don’t order peppermint outside of winter. I don’t see why they would but 🤷🏼‍♂️
