just making sure it wasn't a fever dream, i don't think my store ever went through one whole bottle

That and pine needle sage latte will go down as the worst drinks ever lol

I loooooved the juniper latte but I understand I’m the only person on earth who enjoyed it
Circletowergiselle4 points3y ago
No no, you’re not alone. One of the partners in my store absolutely loves it with almond milk.

I LOVED that drink :/ most people just don’t like flavors that are herbal like rosemary & lavender, but those are my favorite coffee flavors
MsMeggers3 points3y ago
Right?? Lavender lattes are amazing...and rose lattes...Mmmmm

i remember my manager made us all try it at a meeting and everybody took one sip and threw it away 😂
ajd02244 points3y ago
Omg i was like wow that’s a really different idea... took one sip and never looked back

Pine needle sage? How long ago was this?
universalnature3 points3y ago
Last holiday season. It was during my first few months at Starbs and I got it all the time. So herby and delicious!

Last winter, luckily i was only a customer and not a partner yet bc i would’ve quit if i had to serve that 😭

I loved both of those drinks lol. Lucky for me cause I got to take the unused syrup home.

eww

I legit never made a single one. Non sequenced drinks are bad, but that drink was cursed. We regularly threw the bottles away.

we'd regularly have to check with customers to ensure they wanted the cinnamon and not the caramel cloud

question... Has anyone else been told to make whipped cream this way: 1. mix the syrup & cream in the pitcher 2. pour into whipper canister 3. pop the N2O cartridge 4. shake EXACTLY ten times 5. lay it down sideways on the counter for three minutes Why the putting it down for a nap? This is something our new manager is telling us to do.
guachummus3 points3y ago
That’s how my first store taught me
PhenomenalPhoenix2 points3y ago
I was taught this way:
1. Mix syrup and cream in pitcher 2. Pour into whipped cream canister 3. Put on the N2O cartridge 4. Shake 8 times upright 5. Lay it on its side long enough to grab a sticker and date it 6. Shake 4 more times upside down

I've been told that laying it sideways helps the N20 disperse through the whip cream better? Or something like that, idk.
