1. Hot chocolate it's not supposed to get foam
2. I personally don't like the texture of it!
I see nothing wrong with asking for no foam, after all they can customize their drinks however they want it...? I enjoy my job so I don't mind it😂 It really does depends how they ask for it too.

I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, no one has ever taught me that anything with whip gets no foam. And I’ve been a partner for 2 years!! Wtf😂😂

When you say that, are you talking about properly aerated microfoam, or the literal mess of air bubbles that could hardly be described as foam that most baristas hand out?

It's a valid preference, however I don't understand it. Proper foam shouldn't taste like air at all, it should be somewhat sweet and creamy which adds to how enjoyable a milk-based espresso beverage is.

Hot chocolate doesn’t get foam. Just don’t aerate your milk though, your partners will scream at you for the noise but just say it’s eggnog lol

Even if you’re not going to aerate it, break the surface tension as if you were going to (basically aerate it for 1 second lol) and then it won’t make that noise.

Yeah........our steam wand levers also break every mother week. The espresso machine repair guy is at our store all the time.

Corporate is...yea lol like we’ve been told about the whole new machines we all are getting, and it’s been months now and yet none, and within that time we’ve had to call in service for our machine probably 7 times now 🙂
