I just got hired, and I really want to get a degree. I just had my whole First Sip meeting and the whole history of Starbucks meeting today, and something my manager mentioned to me caught my attention. Apparently you can get reimbursed for your classes? I might sound dumb but I'm really confused. How does it all work? The diagram and all the info I saw in the handbook and the ASU website just confused me more.... Can you guys dumb it down for me?

Yep! 100% tuition reimbursement for asu online. You still go through fafsa and all that. You pay for the classes with your own money, then starbucks will reimburse you on your paychecks. hope that helps!

It’s really awesome. I’m currently in the program, as well as a few other partners at my store. I was confused at first too, but Starbucks has people on the ASU side of things who are solely dedicated to the SB ASU students. I ended up calling ASU, got directed to the dept for SB partners, and that person was able to give me a ton of info as well as what steps to take to take advantage of the program. Really worth it!
