i work with my best friend, and i barely realized that my manager purposely schedules us at different times. we NEVER work together and i don’t understand why, because when she first came to my store we would work together and customers really liked seeing us work because it was like we had a genuine connection and were just fun. (no joking around fun but we worked well and we have positive energy. we created a fun atmosphere). but now we never work together, so i have another coworker that i got close to, (who the manager was really close to, this was her right hand i’d say) and now that my manager sees i’m close to this other coworker, my manager now treats this coworker differently and doesn’t let me work with her either. lol it’s like my manager won’t let me have friends and work with them because she’s jealous? but anyways. more recent, before thanksgiving week schedule came out i asked her if i could work it. and so i see she only scheduled 1 opener and didn’t schedule me at all. and so instead of letting me be the 2nd opener, she asked someone else and i’m not working the day at all even tho i asked. and she said that “many of the partners don’t like how you come to the store on your off days and hang out with people on their breaks”
UHHHH I come to study because i’m a student and why wouldn’t i go to my own store if i love it? and it’s not my fault the partners want to sit with me on their breaks. anyways, i’m kinda sick of being treated different and her probably making up things that other partners are saying so ima just drop a bomb and say “don’t put me on the next schedule, because i found a new store” and i did :)
