Customer Support (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Grobanne2011
277\*\*\*\* here! I started at Starbucks mid-August and I got some training, but I'm still struggling. I'm really good at drive, and I'm getting better at bar as I work the closing shifts. On weekends, I've been working mids and I get put on customer support. I know it has something to do with brewing coffee and keeping everything stocked, but if someone could clarify the process and how it works, that would be great!

Shift here— so our store is pushing CS hard in order to get good customer connections. The CS cycle has 3 main parts:

1. Brew coffee
2. Check the cafe (condiment bar, handoff planes, bathrooms, make a customer connection)
3. Tasking (restock, dishes, trash, disruptive tasks {floors, drains, etc})

The cycle starts over when your timer goes off. You should set your timer depending on how many coffees your store is brewing.

Hope this helps & is relevant to your store! :)

Also whips, iced coffee, iced teas, lemonade, sweet cream. Basically try to have backups prepped so bar doesn't run out.
