Iced water with syrup flavoring: is it charged as a custom iced tea or just water with syrup? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I’ve seen several customers come through our drive and ask for a venti iced water with so many # pumps of syrup (like 6 pumps of raspberry). I was talking with another partner and we were trying to figure out how we would charge for that.
Would it be charged as a custom iced tea (the partner mentioned charging this because of the labor cost as well) rather than just writing it is in a water with flavoring?
I’ve never been told otherwise so I’m just curious as to what our standard policy is with adding syrup to water and what we should be charging them for it.

I’m gonna check the beverage resource manual as well when I get to work tomorrow, but it’s weird to associate $4 of labor costs for 2 seconds of labor (since we don’t charge labor for the pouring of water). But it doesn’t surprise me that Starbucks would do that. 🤷♂️

Thanks!! It’s true though, they almost did drive off because they said that another Starbucks didn’t charge them that much for it.

The beverage resource manual says that we have to charge for beverages by adding extra to a core menu item, which means not water since it isnt on the menu.
