Had my first breakdown/cry today!(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by cstompk
First people got upset because there wasn’t Raspberry in their Caramel Frapp (even though they didn’t say anything about Raspberry) then had someone yell at me about the drive threw (forgive sp? Still getting over the panic attack) taking too long and when I told him I was alone on drive and doing the best I could continued to yell at me. At which point it was the end of my shift and went and cried in the back then fully broke down in my car. All in all not the worst that could have happened but still sucked 😂

I do have anxiety. It usually doesn’t bother me but today was one of those days. But really, it’s valid to be upset about that. No one should treat people that way no matter age or experience. Thanks though.

Man don't invalidate people. This wasn't really a necessary thing to say to someone!

Really didn't say that, it's just if someone gets in to customer service business they need to grow thick skin as there will always be mean customers

customerny may I ask if you’ve ever worked an honest day in a customer service setting in your life? People, such as yourself apparently, say absolutely unnecessary and vile things like their shit don’t stink. You shouldn’t talk to people like that unless you’ve actually worked a high stress and high volume customer service job or you suffer from a stick lodged up your ass. 🖕🏻

Honestly no I haven't worked any fast food jobs. I been working in taxes while in college and now working as staff accountant
