Usually (from experience) I’ve never received my lunch or breaks on time and 9/10 they skip breaks. It’s aggravating. We skip lunches sometimes too and the SM gets frustrated about it but she’s the one that asks us to skip, so.. lol
We did not get a new DM. I think we’ve had the same DM for a while now. However, we just got a new SM. About 1 month ago. He’s only worked with the company for 5 months. :|

Honestly!!!! Sometimes it’s okay but when you’re one manning bar and it’s busy as fuck, of course I want my break I need to BREATHE. My SM will literally be like “ah you’re ok, you get a lunch soon” like I outta slap you

ASSHOLES.
My SM gave me 38.75 hrs the week before last knowing that I'm asked to stay late a lot but she said OT was ok that week (she needed to take a last minute week long vaca lol)
Then this last weds she asked me to work 7-330 on thurs instead of my original 5-130 and threw in a "You got OT last week though so I'm gonna have to watch you this week lol" comment. Then 330 rolls around thurs and I'm watching 3 ppl who came in AFTER me literally RUN out the door (happy hour, amiright...) at 335-345 as my SM is just chugging along as if all is normal and 430 (when I *eventually* left) was the leave time we had discussed the day before... ya know... when she mentioned no more ot for me?
So I BETTER not see any of this bullshit pop up on my schedule...

Na I got fired because I repeatedly asked for an accommodation for my crohns, never got one and thought I did. Turns out I had to call PCC to get one and it’s my fault for not knowing that because it’s in the handbook.
I hit my breaking point when the shift supervisor subtracted fifteen minutes from my six hour shift in order to “help” me, when she gave me my ten two hours in and handed the store over to the next SSV without ever telling me she took my lunch away.
The first time, I was told it would never happen again.
It happened two more times and I walked out the third time it happened, so I got fired.
This company is dying from the inside out.

I feel like the managers are oblivious to the fact we have lives outside of that place. Or that we are basically coffee robots. I’ll take overtime when I can but I mean when you’re already working a long shift, the hours just feel longer and longer. I’m sorry about that ;(

Right? We all were told that our DM wanted to continue to have shifts like that so we didn’t have any lunch breaks. My SM literally just hired 32 people so all of our hours are being cut. Jokes on him though cause they’ve all been calling out like crazy 🤪

I’ve usually gotten a little over time but this week was ridiculous. I just became a barista trainer and they didn’t give me any training for it so I’ve just been going into it blind lol. My SM asked me to work my normal hours and then come in at night so I’ve been working 2 shifts everyday

My SM made me a barista trainer (yay) but instead of a normal schedule, he has me working my usual shift in the mornings and then I get off and come back and work another shift at night. :|

If you go onto the partner hub, just type in the search bar “schedule” and it’ll pop up with how to do it. It’s a ridiculously long process but I guess it’s worth it in the end lol.
