Shouldn't be on the customer to give us a bigger tip because they feel bad for us. Don't get me wrong, very nice thing and that person is a saint but still, this company makes a ton of money. Like enough to open up stores all the time and have them thrive. They're simply selling out their good name and letting the staff suffer. I'm not saying it should be some dream job but when the core of the people that make your business run suffer you clearly need to look at your model.

California we make 14.27 but cost of living is more expensive here

My store started me off at 9.50 and minimum wage here is 7.50. My sister was mad I was making more than her at the job she’d been at for over two years PLUS the tips I get.

Geez. I make almost 19 dollars an hour as a supervisor, but that’s in Canada. Still worth about 14.25USD/hour.

I made 12 when I worked at the Bux and I lived in NC at the time.

I make 11.25 at a Macy’s Sbux in New England.

I'm in Southern ish VA, baristas make like 9.60,and I was hired as a shift at like 11 something.
