Did anyone else hear about the guy who rated a store a +2 and then saw his name was written wrong so he bumped it down to a +1?

My manager was giving me the whole -1 to +2 spiel and telling me that they learned about at the Chicago conference. Apparently some guys whole job is to rate Starbucks on this scale. He walked into a store had an amazing experience, all of the baristas were delivering a +2 and then he realized his name was spelled wrong and bumped them down to a +1. Now if dude's name is John and they put Gon on there I can understand but when there are 50 different spellings of Katharine, Kaitlyn, and Kristine that's a lot of pressure when you're line is to the door.

So now our manager makes us ask anyone if we're unsure of how to spell their name.

Lmao I hate that. Sometimes people don’t even pay attention to you. People be cutting you off right before you say hi and yell their order at you and then just leave, the second later come back and get mad cause HEY I WANTED IT ICE!
Like dude don’t get me wrong I do love my jobs but mostly just the job itself and the co worker, the entire making connect with customers is tiring. Sometimes at my store we will have some people from the corporate come down and watch us perform and suddenly everyone have to act fake asf. I think it’s funny that the company make the entire a thing bout the customers meanwhile don’t give a flying fuck about their employees, it’s sad.
But hey as a Starbucks barista, always remember: “My mission is to serve coffee for assholes. Money can get you some coffee, but it can’t knock some common sense in some people.”
