C: I want an iced caramel macchiato with extra foam.
Me: cold foam?
C: (completely serious tone) no, I want you to steam whole milk and put it on top.
Me: (awkward laugh)
C: why are you laughing? I’m serious.
My manager talked him out of it and said it would not be the best experience for him, but all I could think was how can someone have this much chaotic energy.

Right? Like my manager was like “oh do you mean the iced caramel cloud?” And he proceeded to tell her no and was getting irritated that we weren’t understanding that this man wanted STEAMED WHOLE MILK on top of an ICED macchiato

Dude!!! I don’t know if this was a thing world wide but in Canada before we had cold foam this was legit how we were supposed to do iced cappuccinos. Basically an iced latte with hot foam on top. SO. GROSS.

We have one woman that always gets a grande hot white mocha no whip add cold foam and every time I am thrown off but that’s what she wants

I have had a customer who got a grande MF with no whip and cold foam instead........And a regular who gets pumpkin cold foam in a venti Flat White.....both of them psychically pain me to make lol.

Ice Capps used to be made this way prior to cold foam caps.
