... But I have no idea what to do. I've been in customer service for 13 years, and sbux for almost 5. Things are changing at my store (it's a more common complaint nowadays) and its hard justifying everything when I'm paid barely $1 more than brand new partners. I would try transfering before fully promoting to customer. But if that didnt work out I have no idea what to even think about doing.

Time to leave, never settle down if you’re not happy with it. Go apply to the other coffee shops around you, since you have 5 years experience with you. Also try to read and learn about wine, cider and how to pair foods with them.

Ugh sending you so much love hun!!! I’m 7.5 years in starbucks at this point, most of that was at a kiosk and now I’m in a corporate store and things, like you’ve said, and changing and it doesn’t feel like for the better. If you still love the job but the pay is the problem, maybe consider going for shift supervisor? If you’ve fallen out of love with the job and the money isn’t good, time to start looking for something that will make you happy. It’s stupid how hard it is to find a good paying job on customer service considering what we put up with, but if you can hold in at starbucks while you hunt to find the right place for you, your gold.

Either way, again all the hugs and love. I’ve been in a dark place off and on about work too, you are definitely not alone. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! You're very sweet. I was a shift a couple years ago, and could probably handle it again, but my availability isnt the best because I have a child.
