it's probably not a big deal if you bring it back as soon as possible. like at my store we can usually take aprons home but we don't have enough of the red for everybody so they just wanna make sure that everyone can have one if they want one. if your sm isn't an asshole they probably won't care since it's not a big deal in the first place.

My store got 20-30 red aprons and everyone took them home (including me) as far as I’m aware... nothing should happen.

Different sm have different rules. Some don’t let them get taken home (which I don’t really understand) and some just treat them like any other apron.

I took one home because I work at least 5 days a week and never get to wear one because everyone claims them. So I took one home that I found, washed it, and just bring it with me. No one says anything. Just don’t put it in your bag in front of your SM if you are worried lol.
