Loving this! I stood up when I was a shift lead and pushed for a raise. I talked to few managers, the district, then the regional manager. I managed to get 17 and hour before I was making 14.50.

Oh man my coworker was talking about this how they are understaffing or store is chopping our hours and we used to love coming to work now it’s surviving the shift . And I get no response from my SM about shifts available some where off or even my request to transfer cause I get no hours. Most of us got a second job like I did

It's ridiculous that people are forced to work more than one job because the hours and pay are so low. Why is a living wage so much to ask?

I wish I felt like more of my coworker’s would be willing to push for raises and the like. Everyone just kinda seems resigned to the way things are

I just started at Starbucks 3 months ago and because of the part time hours I was unaware of I went out and got a second job. I’m scheduled 5 hour shifts the majority of the time and before I got my second job I was only scheduled 25 hours with open availability. I like the job and the benefits but was hoping it would be full time. Now I’ll be working full time with two jobs just so I can be able to breathe and not worry about money all of the time. Crazy to read that hours are being cut everywhere at numerous stores.
