Day two: This has been the biggest thing because there’s been times where I’ve had to stop mid-word! 😂

And hearing the beep of coworkers turning theirs on to talk to each other and the white noise of when people leave on their in-store partner button without actually using it

I haven’t experienced this yet! Might be because I worked at a call centre for 3 years before Starbucks, but I can definitely say that for those who have their volume up really loud it wouldn’t take much!!

The only thing the managers will ever talk about is the drive times during peak

When you're on window, learn to connect with customers. I am good at surface level interaction, but really, your job is to get to know them at the window. It's literal torture and very boring if it's not your personality, but stay at the window and don't feel bad that stuff around you needs tending to. I have a real bad habit of leaving the window and I'm trying to train myself out of it.

Thank you so much!! I’m liking window for the same reason that I love POS, but I’m finding it really hard to stand there while they’re waiting on their drinks because I know I could easily make their drinks for them.
