at this point contact ur district manager, this isn’t right!! u shouldn’t have to feel this way please i promise u speak up for ur own good starbucks is not a bad company and ur sm should not encourage that behavior, if u need help with finding ur training send me a message i will be glad to help u out hun

your conscious should be clear and calm hun, let others think what they want like you said it a job not a friend making place. your “sm” should not let you feel that way it is so childish of ur sm to not say a word, maybe you should speak to ur district manager!

its so unbelievable. my manager also has other problems... but this by far is the worst. I walked into the back room and heard her gossiping with the shift about us. I have a shift with him in two weeks which means we will have to work together on the floor... which stresses enough. my sm hints "she knows" by during my first day going on for about 10 mins on how she "hates liars." Tomorrow is my third shift. I cant wait for MORE of her grilling

im so sorry u feel this way hun i can just imagine how dreading it must feel to be going to work and be in that workplace but u should definitely speak out, starbucks is all about creating the third place yada yada yada yada, but this starts with the energy ur manager gives off. she’s supposed to be setting an example. i’m a shift at my store and i know gossip is FORBIDDEN. let’s not be hypocrites. ur sm seems like they need to GROW UP.! hang in there my love

I dont know how to approach her because of this issue because Im scared that she'll consider my difficult and let me go but--
I gave her 9am-12pm open availability every day and she scheduled me next week opening shifts. I simply cannot make that, but they are the only two shifts she gave me that week. Im too afraid to speak up in person since when I spoke up today abojt my partner log in not working, she got frustrated and condescendingly said i forgot my pw. When we went to reset it, it said I wasnt in the system. She made me call support, but since its thanksgiving it was closed.
Tomorrow will be the same probably. She'll make me call support for the 30 mins my trainer isnt in or make me figure out how to navigate to my online training completely alone with no help.
I feel like I bother her so much... simply because she thinks im lying. I was really really looking forward to this job and dont really wanna be let go/quit in case in future I want to work at a different location but wow.. stress levels through the roof

I feel as if she holds this "lying" against me when it comes down to any other work related issue. Its rough but I dont want to snitch just as I got hired and be known as THAT person.
She also makes racist comments but then says "sorry if i offend you, if I do tell me so I can stop." Uhhh she shouldnt be saying stuff like that anyways right?
Ie. All asians look the same, wow you guuys look alike! Both white
