Do sick hours roll over into the next year? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been trying to search reddit, google, and Starbucks partner hub but can’t find a response. I was wondering if we have sick hours we don’t use, would they roll over into the next year??

It rolls over for a crazy amount of hours. My SM is nearing 14 years and is just now reaching the rollover limit. So you should be safe if you dont use them for a while.

SM and barista sick time are two completely separate accrual/rollover amounts. According to the handbook, it is up to 40 hours.

Just had a barista go through this because she wanted to make sure she kept her hours. Called whatever Starbucks benefits information line and confirmed that over 400 hours would roll over. Have other baristas with over 40 hours rolling over. So whatever you looked at wasn't up to date.

Yes, BUT there's a maximum accrual, so use them or lose them.
