Sounds like this girls mom came through my drive through on happy hour the other week.
“The guy said he’d hook me up” referring to the guy who took her order before I took over for his ten.
“Well ma’am do you have the Starbucks app?”
“Yes, but I just want the discount”
“Right I just need your bar code to apply the discount, you can pay however you want... just need the barcode.”
“.... you guys do this everytime, scammin us, the barcode isn’t even in facebook..”
“Ma’am I just need your app and you can get the discount we aren’t affiliated with Facebook”
“It’s fine whatever I don’t care”
Huffing and puffing about her full price blended diabetes in a cup.
“OKAY it’ll be 10 blah blah”
*me with the biggest smile on my face*
*looks deD in the eyeball*
“Maam, I hope you have a great rest of your evening thank you so much”

I thought gold members get free refills of brewed coffee even if the original order wasn't that. I'm assuming she wanted a refill of the mocha, but I would have loved to play dumb and given her a refill of pike place.
