How do we hear past 162°F? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey guys, I have some customers who ask for their drink at 180° but my machine only does 162° for extra hot. If I try to pull the lever again it just shuts off. Is it possible to bypass this?

Pull the lever half way and usually goes on manual if they’re the same as the machines in my store. That way you can steam to whatever temp you like, just don’t take your eye off it

If you have the new 3 hopper mastrenas, push the lever back instead of pulling it. In either case you will need to manually hold the lever to adjust the temperature.
