I was making a standard grande>venti brulee and the lady it was for was kinda hovering. As I am finishing it with the extra whip (g>v) I notice like it's a bit too over flow, take out some more foam/whip and whip it up and get interrupted by a "I dont want runny whip cream.... can I see the whip?" So i walk over a lil irritated because it's like "I know what I'm doing"

Customer: "my daughter used to work here, so likeπŸ˜ŒπŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ’†πŸ½β€β™€οΈ.... okay it's fine, more topping please."

So I'm like 😐 "okay"

Her: "are you mad now?"

You're not important enough for said reaction.

Me: "I wasnt sure what you had wanted" because she was watching me make it and the whip came out fine so ?????

I kinda stopped listening after but did catch a "the customer is always right" from her which is like I never said you were wrong

May or may not get in trouble for not making the moment right but like k

i feel like as long as you didnt make the moment wrong, if the customer is rude as heck, it SHOULD be okay (depending on how snobby the manager is lol)

If I ever feel like I've had a bad moment with someone, I fully just tell my shift and manager, just so it's not a surprise
