I just put in my 2 weeks and it was amazing. Never too early to start the job search. It's very easy to get jobs at small coffee shops after working Starbucks. I am going into training to be a manager of a smaller coffee company.

Just finished my shift. And it got crazier after the 9 travelers. 2 call outs. But I survived!!!!!

Live near an army training base...had 22 or 23 travelers during peak once. Luckily we were a new store and had 7 partners working that morning!

Are you me?!!!! First, had to do a total of 7 travellers, 3 were due at 6:30a, and 4 were due at 6:45 (I don’t think 6:45 showed up)

Then it gets better: at around 7:30 I had someone order 3 travellers through DT during our peak. DRIVE-THRU. And ask if it’s be ready when they got to the window! Honey, no. Not how that works. But this particular customer gets a pass from me because they were a sweet family and even apologised because they’ve never ordered a traveller before! Thank Jebus they were understanding that it would indeed take longer than 30 seconds to brew 3 different coffees. Also kind of them to understand that the next time it’s best to order at least 30 minutes beforehand since we brew a new batch of coffee for travellers. I hope they’re having a nice day.

I had 4 Cambros and a traveler this morning 😭

Our phone doesn’t work so people either mobile order it or get them in line. It’s the worst when we’re low on something then you need 2 or more travelers

One time a lady came in and ordered 10 dark roast travelers for right then and I had to make all of them, and then she drove off with only 7 of them.

Power to ya! I’m at a kiosk inside a kroger and anytime people come up and order travelers on the spot, I’m like “sorry, we only do those as call ahead orders.” Sorry Debra, I’m not scrambling all over the store to get your traveler stuff together, especially if I’m alone.

Brah i feel this, i had a bunch of walk-in orders for travelers come in during peak and typically they get bumped to a shift or our sm due to flex, but I was oven support and made them all myself.

Felt really proud when my sm thanked me for not bumping them to her so she could flex to bar 2.
