Why would someone think this is okay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My store got Uber Eats not too long ago, which quite frankly, is dumb.
A couple days ago, someone ordered 41 items through Uber Eats at my tiny lobby store. We had 4 partners in the store. 27 of these were food, that our system didn't update very well and we ran out of lots of what they wanted. The driver showed up way before it was all done and had to wait around.
I said "I hope you get a really good tip from this" and he told me he would probably get $5 from the whole thing and that this person would probably do this again.
I sure hope that man got a large tip, and that this person never orders like that again.

I’m convinced the only people who do this are people that have never worked in (or known anyone who worked in) retail or food. Like they have zero concept whatsoever of how terrible doing something like that is to the people who have to prepare/deliver it

Or they’re just fucking assholes
