Cheers to the honey blend pump coming soon. Updated HCM recipe uses pumps instead of honey packets.

Most people had already been ordering it that way for a while before sbx finally added it as the hcm. The most popular version of the med ball also used the mint maj instead of Jade citrus so I find people order the med ball when they want it decaff as well. Its just a learning experience for everyone, and it doesn't help that most baristas don't have the time (or energy) to correct and educate guests on the new terminology and specifics. Cold and flu season sucks all around :/

The medicine ball I believe also has peppermint where the honey citrus mint does not. At least that’s what I was told, maybe it’s wrong.

I don’t think you use peppermint. Maybe that was a request from a certain customer? Not sure if different stores do different things, but we just do Jade Citrus + Mint Majesty + 2 honeys, some water and steamed lemonade

My reasoning for always clarifying is that now because the citrus defender is a thing people will use the name "medicine ball" for both the defender and hcm.
I usually just tell customers we cant legally call anything we sell "medicine" as well
