Shit man you’ll often get that at corporate, it’s not like the fact that it’s a license store even really increases the risk. It’s just one of those really poorly named drinks that rarely gets ordered compared to the rest of our core lineup. I’m a 7.5 year partner and I still have to think through the recipe when I make one because there aren’t enough to build muscle memory for it.

it’s a drink that can either be fucking amazing or terribly disappointing... there’s a specific barista that I order it with. If she isn’t there, it’s cold brew time. She makes it look - seriously, like a romantic Italian espresso commercial; the heavy cream cascading down through it as she hands it to me. Everyone else is like *shake shake, sloppy pour, hands it over smugly*
