Drive-through is hell on rainy days (self.starbucksbaristas)

Today in the DMV is raining/snowing so you know nobody is gonna want to come inside when we have a drive-through. But these mfs done left some brain cells at home with the amount of people rushing me when they order 8 medicine balls (SN: I hate them so much) or not rereading their order or just say “yes” when I ask those everything on the screen look correct and they get to the window and say this isn’t want I wanted..... I seriously hate starbucks customers man

When people leave their windshield wipers on or SMOKE DIRECTLY INTO MY FACE is when I start getting really pissed. I'm a person and not a coffee-making, order-taking robot and if people could idk have half an ounce of awareness that they're, idk, spraying me with water that would be fantastic.

We will close the window if someone tries to smoke like that. There is a door within 25ft of our window, so they are breaking store policy by doing so, risking the health of both baristas and other customers.

The first time it happened I was genuinely stunned that someone was nonchalantly blowing smoke into my face. Now I'm like kindly point that shit somewhere else because you aren't getting your drink until you do. I've worked food service before but Starbucks in particular makes you learn what you will and won't put up with fast, lol.
