Hi can someone tell me what wrong w my Starbucks order? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Lushfloraaa
Okay so my friends sister works at a Starbucks location and she asked me if I wanted anything since we work at the same plaza...I don’t really know her that well so ig I could’ve just straight up asked her why she was weird abt it; anyways when I told her my order she gave me this face and she was like uuuhhh okay but why do you order that.

So I’m here thinking, yeah I don’t know how to order coffee ig, so she just made my drink and dropped it off. Problem is, now I’m self conscious abt ordering it again.

The order is; A short triple espresso macchiato, with soy and little foam and I wanted it warm. Also 1 pump of sugar free cinnamon dolce.

I’m not like a coffee expert or anything, but that’s just what I like to drink ig. Anyways, can someone correct me w the order? Is it wrong ...? I just don’t understand her reaction or maybe she just hates making it🤷🏽‍♀️ thanks in advance!

Nope sounds like you know exactly what you want to order and your friend doesn’t want to feel or sound dumb by ordering something “not on the menu”
Let me guess , she’s either An iced coffee, ice caramel macchiato or strawberry açaí lover ?your drink is more in the “traditional” side so she was probably confused.

Literally nothin wrong with it.

Also at least at my store some of us might "judge" what you're drinking but all the baristas tend to order specific drinks/orders that can be weird so please really dont feel self conscious about ordering.

Literally nothing wrong at all. My guess is she’s only ever worked in a Starbucks and not for a very long time or just hasn’t done her research. Starbucks most common macchiato is a caramel macchiato which some people think it’s just a latte. Macchiato translates to marked. So normally just a dollop of milk or foam, depending on the person.

Nah you good. Sounds delicious tbh

My only guess would be because you order it short and there’s quite a few contents in it
