Interview tomorrow... (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by littleolefee
I have a shift supervisor interview tomorrow and I am so nervous!!! Does anyone have any advice? I’m so awful at interviews. I’m pretty okay at my job but I just blank when in interviews. Like what is an espresso? Where dat from? That is my brain in interviews lol

Remember to demonstrate the Starbucks experience in your answer. Show them that you can be a leader to other baristas. Talk about the times when you gone above and beyond. Times where you had to think quickly on your feet. You never know what each shift is really going to be like.

Thank you, that is helpful. I asked my manager for questions they might ask, even if it’s just one so I can prepare. I’m very big on note taking and I write down pretty much everything because if I read it enough then I’ll remember it so I won’t just be confused. She also told me to bring my resume but now, within like 12 hours from my shift I find out it’s a different kind of a resume and not your actual resume. Oh boyo

I didn't have one. My interview basically involved simple questions like do I have previous experience with the count or the pull. Or have a been a play caller. or had to talk about a time on the floor that was stressful. How do I go about coaching people

Oh boy. It doesn’t sound bad. I just get so stressed thinking about interviews idk why. I’m probably overthinking it
