When on bar, people stand there in a rush waiting for the drive thru drinks , and I’m like bar support would be helpful. Then they half arse bar support and I’d just rather do it myself lmao

I try but partners are like I'VE GOT IT OMG or I get yelled at to stay planted. So that's what I do now.

this happens to me too. i try to help but normally the person on bar just yells at me because i’m “messing up their sequence” (even though if they’re making hot drinks i make cold drinks or vice versa) and it discourages me from helping

I hate that your partners treat you like that too. I feel like I'm nothing but underfoot and then people wonder why I just stand there when there's nothing to stock in my little area, no whips or mocha to make and nothing to warm. :(

Imagine waiting on a drink, being on DTR, knowing you literally can't do anything else but give them stuff when you get their money, but not everything is ready. So you sit like a fucking boulder waiting for a drink and/or food rather than prepping/making ANYTHING or bar, or going to pick up food with napkins in hand. Like just pull the car forward at that point you're doing nothing but pushing up the drive times because you are incapable of being helpful.
