How many people are on cold bar and hot bar at a corporate store. (self.starbucksbaristas)

I work at the busiest starbucks in my airport and we always have a line until closing. Since the store is so busy, I don’t think it’s Normal to have one person on cold and one person on hot bar as standard during operating hours. Supervisors only come and help when we are backed up with cups, but other than that, it’s always one person on each bar. And whoever’s on cold bar has to do warming too.

At my (cafe only) store, there is only ever one person on bar. Meaning they are on both hot and cold bar themselves. Usually we only add a second person if it’s super busy like peak or happy hour. But usually just one person total.

In my store during peak we have a bar 1 who gets an espresso bar and does refreshers/ teas and bar 2 gets the other espresso bar and does Frappuccinos, iced coffee, sometimes brewed coffee and hot teas just because that’s how our bar is set up its easiest to basically divide it in half. When it’s backed up we add a cold bar barista who does all the blended drinks. I’ve worked at two different corporate stores and a licensed store. In my experience Kiosks/ licensed stores always get fucked that way, and end up never being staffed enough. Atleast at a bigger store I only have one role, working at a Starbucks inside another building I always had to do everything at once

That’s an interesting setup. My store cashier does coffees, hot teas, and non warmed pastries.

During peak at a drive they store theres usually one person on the drive through espresso bar, one person on cafe/mobile espresso bar, and one person on cold bar. When it’s less busy there can be one person on bar and one on bar support who does whatever is needed whether that be cold bar or double espresso bar. Towards close there’s usually one person on bar and they ask for support when they need it.

You have two people on bar? Usually my store (corporate, and busy location) has one person working both hot and cold bar, and a supervisor may jump on cold bar to assist if we get a large number of fraps in a row. We only have two people on bar on maybe christmas day during peak.

I’ve worked a store where we were so busy we had a dedicated cafe hot bar, dedicated dt got bar, and a person on cold bev. All hot teas/coffees were cashiers, we had a dedicated warmer for food. It got hella crazy. I’m currently at a store where they like to make one person do it all alone thanks to Kevin’s labor cuts.

During morning peak we gave a front cash, (flexing to hot bar support for mobile and front), hot bar, cold bar support, drive bar, warming, customer support, and a dto. High volume is fun

I would say my store is averagely busy - we get an insane amount of mobile orders during peak in the mornings though. We have 2 on bar and one on cold bar (on the busiest days). Between peaks, we have one person on bar and another who flexes between reg/cs/bar in case mobiles get backed up.
