Anyone else having a ridiculous week so far? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Honestly yesterday (happy hour) and today really got me. It was so busy and everything just went out the window. Is this just a holiday thing? I go for a run every day after work, but today I was so exhausted I just sat in the steam room for a hour (so not recommended). Really tried to keep a positive attitude, but ended up having to just apologize to my SM for it all going to heck and not even being able to keep up with it all for his 20 min lunch break.

Idk what it is but people’s attitudes have sucked the last week. And it kinda puts a damper on my and everyone else’s mood.
Some guy today was in the drive thru and wanted his macchiato made in a personal cup. Drives up to the window and hits his cup on the window, not looking at me. I open the window
“Hi!”
Still doesn’t look at me. I take the cup and bring it back with his drink. He pays. He takes a sip then says “What the hell is this??”
“You ordered a caramel macchiato.”
“Yeah but wtf is this? It tastes terrible.”
“I can have them remake it for you if you’d like.”
He just pours the coffee onto the ground and places the cup on the window, no eye contact, no words.
I take the cup and now I’m pissed off. Like why the hell do people feel the need to be so rude?!

this week has definitely been the worst of the holiday season so far. people are so rude to use lately and we're so busy. its making me sad because christmas is my favorite but customers are being so rude to me and my team its hard for me to be excited during this time
