Had a few of these today. Didn’t charge them correctly because I had a line out the door and didn’t feel like arguing and fighting a losing battle because customers get whatever they want in the end.

Why not just ring as a water with syrup? There’s no rule saying we have to ring it up like a custom tea. This company pays as bare minimum, why care if they lose out on such a simple drink

It is actually a rule in the BRM -- water is not a drink that can be modified.
If you ring it up as a water with syrup than every store that actually follows policy is going to have to argue with customers about what "the other starbucks" did for them. Also, you're not helping your labour situation by undercharging people either.

Amen, you're also shorting yourself on labour so when more and more customers learn they can do this you don't gain the labour making 50 of these while the line builds up
