Hey y’all
I’ve been working here for a year now and it happened. I got written up because a couple of customers have said I’m short with them (when I can’t even recall the last time I was with a customer, let alone anyone), along with going in the BOH when I wasn’t supposed to. I’m at a loss of what to do. Will my hours be cut? Will I ever be able to make it as a manager? I’ve been trying my hardest ever since I got this job and at my last store it was enough, but I don’t think it is here. I’m trying to get an apartment so there is a chance I can transfer, but I’m nervous that because of my write up no one would want me.

Honestly all you can do is accept the criticism and try to do better even if you feel you did nothing wrong. I got written up at the beginning of this year for “being short with other partners”. In my defence I was working 44 hour weeks, sometimes no days off...incredibly stressed out at our failing work environment and was going through a bad breakup. It really upset me but all I did was make sure no one could ever make that criticism of me again. I got promoted to an SSV a few months later. It’s not the end of the world.

Literally u just have to try your hardest and just make peace with it i got written up for having my headphones in and not talking to anyone during clean play....
