Can you call partner resources anonymously? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by nuclearmed18
There are many things that are going south at my store. It’s so bad. I can’t get any hours anymore because my manager “agreed to give a new hire full time hours because she has kids”. Now there’s a bunch of people barely getting 20/25 hours a week because this new partner is getting 39/week. Can I call this in anonymously? Do you think there’s anything that can be done? It’s winter break, all the partners that are in school are out. So many people need hours and aren’t getting anything.

you can ask for them not to share your name, but in my experience partner resources isn't super helpful. i called them once because of a similar-ish thing at my old store. they told me to talk to my manager, i told them that my manager was retaliatory, so they told me to call my DM. so i called my DM and when i did my DM said "it's your SM's store, if you don't like it you can leave." and all i could really say to that was something along the lines of "great thanks for that."

Same here except since I have a kid I get less hours cause she doesn’t know what my availability was which is open never was an issue

You can call up and ask for your name not to be shared. They will ask you to talk with your manager. If that’s not a option just say the scary you, or your afraid of being bullied/ attacked.

Yes, but... If you report anonymously they have a more limited ability to follow up on your complaint. What you're complaining about is probably best communicated to your DM. Partner resources will look at this and say that no policy, or law was violated, just poor management decisions and refer it to the DM or RD to deal with it.
