🙄🙄🙄🙄 The tragic tale of openers vs. closers. I would not even take serious stock in what they’re saying. Although like the previous person said I would ask what y’all are doing right. A little encouragement can go a long way.
Also that shift is bonkers for thinking a few closings mean that you know exactly what to do. Also majority of the blame is on the shift. I’m not even a shift, but if I’m preclosing or closing and I have a green bean I make a list of what needs to be done. That way if we have any free moments between customers there’s some guide to follow and also I tend to prioritize my list with the most important things higher up on the list. As long as most of that list gets done they can eat it.
I’ve been strictly a closer before and now I’m always there at open and I know things get crazy on both day parts. Some people lose sight of that when they don’t do another position often.

They are dicks, it will take you a while to be good at closing. There is a steep learning curve. Ask them what are you doing right so you can build upon that.
